So I’ve been back from Seattle for about five months. I’ve got to say I miss my Seattle SBUX for a few simple reasons. The first reason is that I had my favorite Starbucks right next door. I could go get coffee whenever I wanted. I could get as many free refills as I wanted because I had one of their registered cards. The second biggest reason is they rarely, rarely told me that they were out of whatever blend they were pouring. Since I’ve been back to the Tri-Cities, I’ve been told more times in five months than in the past five years that there wasn’t enough coffee brewed and that I’d have to wait. Secondly, no barista in their right mind would have said “hey, I could just top off that venti with the other coffee we have”. Ugh. Hey… I just needed to vent for a second.
