Here’s a suggestion. To all the people driving northbound on 1st Ave South going to the Starbucks on the corner of 1st Ave S. and Walker. WATCH OUT FOR PEOPLE CROSSING ON WALKER STREET! If I had a nickel for every person who rounded that corner like their Mario Frickin’ Andretti, it would fund my coffee habit for a year.
There are always a couple of pros and cons though. The pro: there would be enough cops who would be a witness to me getting hit because they’re all there. The con: they’d probably write two tickets. One to the driver for excessive speed and one to me for jaywalking. Oh well. The city has to get paid.
