So in an earlier post, I had stated that I would most likely only get the new Breakfast Blend on a Tuesday thru Thursday scenario. Well, today is Friday and this Breakfast Blend is tasting mighty fine. Almost as fine as yesterday’s cup.

I fell for the marketing campaign and tried the free McDonald’s latte this morning. I am kind of interested to see how “McCafe” is going to affect Starbucks… I thought their normal price of $1.99 for a small seems just a tiny bit high. On one hand, it tasted good, but I could still hear that high-pitched fast food alarm beeping in the background. So even though Starbuck’s music can get old, it sure beats fast food background noise… that being said the coffee was quite good. I probably wouldn’t make a special trip for it though. I think they’ll just be selling it to the people that go there anyway.
Here’s to making coffee at home. It’s going to make a comeback…
