Peso’s Beef Bites

by ryantodd on April 1, 2008

I decided to make a rare outing. It was Monday and I just needed to get out of the apartment for a little while. I headed for a place I hadn’t been to on a Monday for a while. Peso’s was the place to be apparently. For a Monday, the place was poppin’.

When I got there, one of the first bartenders I ever met when I first came to Seattle was behind the bar. In my humble opinion, Aaron is one of the top 3 bartenders in Seattle. His expertise, knowledge, and professionalism are the best you will find among ANY bartender, period.

So on to the food…………

One of my all time favorite appetizers at Peso’s are the Seared Chipotle Sesame Beef Bites. They are packed full of flavor and hit the spot. The recipe seems to have changed a couple times over the years, and every time it does, it seems to get better.

Now, obviously, I will say the portion could be a little bigger but God knows I tend to eat a lot.

It was a quick trip to Pesos. Again, I had to get out and clear the head a little.

I have been to Peso’s twice. The seafood enchiladas are excellent. Their chips and salsa do not disappoint. If you can get one of their round booths it’s a good place to hang out for a couple hours. I was pregnant both times I went there, so did not get to try their margaritas.
